Voice follow

How does the script follow my voice?

In Follow mode, NoRetake listens while you read and highlights the words you say. If you skip a line or improvise, it finds your place again. Voice mode scrolls only while you're talking, and Scroll mode moves at a steady speed you set.

It isn't following me. What can I do?

• Check that the script language in the prompter settings matches the language you're speaking.
• Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition for NoRetake in iOS Settings.
• Speak at a normal volume and keep the phone within a couple of meters. Loud background noise makes recognition harder.
• Some languages need an internet connection because Apple recognizes them on its servers. If you're offline, switch to Scroll mode.

Permissions

• Microphone and Speech Recognition: used only while the prompter is listening, in Follow and Voice modes.
• Camera: used only when you record a take.
• Photos: used only when you tap "Save to Photos".

If you declined a permission, turn it on in Settings → Apps → NoRetake. Everything that doesn't need it keeps working.

Subscriptions and purchases

What do I get with Pro?

Unlimited scripts, AI script help and every prompter feature. You can subscribe yearly (with a free trial) or weekly, or buy Lifetime once and keep Pro forever without a subscription.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → NoRetake and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the Pro screen in NoRetake and tap Restore at the bottom. Lifetime and active subscriptions come back at no charge.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

AI script help

AI can draft a script from a topic, shorten it, make it sound natural, change its tone, suggest opening hooks and fix grammar. It's part of Pro, and everyone gets one free draft while setting up the app.

To keep the service fast and fair, AI has a daily limit per user. It resets at midnight UTC. If you see "AI is busy", wait a moment and try again. Always review AI output before you use it.

Your scripts and recordings stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details, or email us to delete the anonymous account the app creates for you.
